Bob's Discount Furniture Sucks
Okay so the prices are good. I ordered and everything arrived fine. The customer service line is a BIG nightmare. Trying to get a human on the line sends you in a maze of menu's that are very limited and has no option to talk with a human.
This inadequate customer service line is poor judgment and can show that a company is scared of complaints and is not going to help you with any of those complaints. If I knew this before my purchase I would not of shopped at Bob's and expect that you exercise extreme caution before using Bob's furniture for your next purchase.
Update: So I had my sofa/couch for under 2 years and the top the the coach is starting to turn white. Unfortunately Bob's Goof proof protection plan is won't cover it because the terms are so limited it's worthless.

Bought a couch and loveseat 2 years ago. All 4 reliners are broken. Sounds like a spring is ready to come through the loveseat. Been on hold with customer support for 90 minutes. What a crappy store this is. Never again.

Steve m . call the store you purchased at.. do not call the customer care line. after a change in procedures the store can help you if they want.

First purchase from Bob's in Nashua,NH.
I purchased a chair, that I had to wait 3 weeks for.
Told they would call when it was in. They didn't.
Went to pick it up [at] the Nashua warehouse. Waited 1 1/2 hours on Sat. and gave up. Came back later and the line outside was even longer. So I went the next day, and dealt with unfriendly, hardly a word spoken, depressed employess.
Got the chair home and took it out of a box. Had to put it together, yet no directions. The chair was visibly overstuffed on one side, had a spot on the leather and the bottom legs were scuffed up and chipped. Also I was missing something for the back so the velcro could stick. So my chair is a mess! Made in China.
Called CS. Not there on the weekends of course.
First and last time for me [at] Bob's unless I get some real help and apologies.

I am looking into calling the tv show shame on you! I purchased my livingroom set 2 years ago along with the goof proof plan which is a complete scam. My couch fell apart. The back frame came apart so the wood is on the ground, the springs are coming thru the black fabric, the arms caved in, etc, etc, etc. We can no longer use the couch b/c of the staples and screws that are popping out everywhere. so i did the right thing and called bobs, they referrred me to Guardsman, the company who holds the "goof proof policy". I called them , they emailed me a service request form which i then had to mail back to them and wait for a response. I waited and waited and waited. 3 weeks went by and finally i got a call and was told, guess what, thats not covered under goof proof. RIDICULOUS! so i called bobs, got a lovely woman on the phone and she said "no worries, we will send our techs out to repair it". so a week later they arrived, no tools in hand. Hmmmmm. they came in, took pics with their cell phones then used my house phone to call in to bobs. after a 20 conversation and hold time, they said, "sorry its not our responsibility, call guardsman for the goof proof". Guardsman again denied the claim and said it was not covered under their plan. i called bobs back, keep in mind every time being on hold for 17-26 minutes. the bobs customer service rep told me to tell guardsman that they are calling this damage "customer caused",then she told me to lie and say my kids jumped on the couch and it broke. SO i did and guardsman didnt believe that since the paper work all said they sat on it and it broke. So now i am stuck with no where to turn. Well, besides my attorney, the news channels, and i think i will have my husband put the piece of junk couch in a truck, bring to the bobs store in freeport ny and sit on it outside and explain to everyone who walks by why they shouldnt buy anything from BOB'S DISCOUNT FURNITURE STORE!
so christina can you help ? I truly loved this livingroom set and the loveseat and chair are fine, as are the 3 tables.
any help would be great!

Bob's is horrible... I wish I read all of these reviews before I went there. I purchased the Vice Versa sectional and within 6 months the cushions all collapsed. Returned it, and purchased another cheap ass couch, which they SOLD to someone else the day before they were supposed to deliver it! Now I'm still waiting for a $300 check from them, and they keep giving me the run-around about it getting mailed out. Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra dollars and get something better. I ended up going to Cardi's in Warwick RI and couldn't be happier now.

I purchased two sofas that recline one has mechanical issues and one is just junk should of know better you get what you pay for made in china life time warranty was what we where told now i need help the store won,t even talk to me and the customer serivce no answer they suck i really mean it going shopping but not Bobs junk store

Let me begin my adventure last November when the saleswomen in the Brookfield CT store tripped over my 2 year old special needs son to trying to close a sale on the living room set that my wife and I were looking at, she literaly forced herself between me and my wife. I was annoyed by this and my wife really liked the set so let we let it slide and waited for a salesperson to help us. I had just come off of a double shift and my wife had put in 36 at the hospital so we looked kind of ragged...we were prejudjed...we swallowed our pide and went to the Southington CT store and purchesed a complete livingroom set from a very nice saleslady, the delivery went without a hitch. My wife's family gave us a $200 gift certificate for christmas and when my son, who has autisim, needed a bed of his own so, we decided to go to BOB's. This time was different. The sales person was indifferent to us and even showed that he was annoyed when we were trying to have my son show us what was comfortable for him (this is an important thing for autistics)and we finally decided on a set. The sales person seemed annoyed that we wanted a half boxspring and that we wanted to pick it up from the store ourselves. When we went to pay for it and showed or giftcard/merchandise credit he said to another employee "Don't you love it when they do that!" and during the whole transaction he was ordering a bacon double cheeseburger from WENDY'S!!! I went to pickup the footboard and headboard, no problem. My wife picked up the rails and we were still waiting for the half-boxspring when she called me a said BOB'S CHARGED US TWICE! I called the Southington store and was told "Well Hon, I don't see any second charges" after I asked the csr about the charges she said " Oh! I see it" after that she told me I would have to bring in my statement and they would rectify it then but after protesting this she called me back and said that they would fix the problem. That night THEY CHARGED ME THREE MORE TIMES!!! Buyer Beware! They are are low rent operation that will say anything to get your money! Will I get any satyifaction in the end? To qoute Bob..."I DOUBT IT"

I recently had to furnish an entire home. I used various furniture places to accomplish this task. From Bob's I purchased a day bed and living room furniture. Just two months from my purchase date, the slabs on the day bed broke and the wheels from the storage ottoman popped. I called for service. The technician came to my home, arriving in an unmarked fancy vehicle. He looked at the ottoman and made a judgement call that the damage was caused by the customer. Did I mention that the damaged ottoman scratched up my newly placed wood flooring. I called customer service again a few weeks later to follow up on the technician's visit. I was told that I have to call another number to request for replacement wheels for the ottoman. By the way, the furnishings that were purchased at the other reputable furniture stores have not given me any problems from my purchas date. Buyer, save yourself alot of grief and aggrevation. Pay a little more and get quality made furniture. Bob's slogan should be Put the value in, take the quality OUT. Bob's will not get any more of my money.

Hey, Smarter Person, or should i call you Bob. The trick to sustaining a business is not by fraud but by customer service. You must have received your training from the Bernie Madoff school of Business. I have been trying to get in contact with customer service for three months without any success. If this is how they treat customers they will be out of business soon.

Thank you bobs furniture you are the f-in worst company in the world thank you for the living room set that you never sent thank you for selling me a couch that will be on back order for the rest of eternity. maybe when I die you send me the other half of the couch for me to sit on. I just baught the libre sectional - special order coffee color, the branson pub table set - espresso color and im about to add on the radius tv console - espresso color. i will be having it delivered june 1, well see how it goes, hopefully ill have the same result as you!!!

I expect to get the product I expect the items to be on the truck when I took the day of to be home I expect customer serivce when I spent over 2 grand not oooh it dosent say here that you ordered a chair I expect the sales lady to order the correct facing chasie when I speak u should write it down correctly. I expect a whole couch not half of it. fuking right I will complain
