How about just having the most recent comments come up first? Ditch the filter.

+1 for eliminating the "X is", "X says", etc. Also - when you clear a search it defaults back to "oldest". It would be better if it could go back to how you had it before or default to one of the other more widely used options.

1, Yes to removing the X's
2, Yes to having a login to post. There should be a "guest/open" page to just view (as we do now) but you should have to log in to post. This would enable you to block users more easily if needed and other users could report users if needed.
3, Please remove and ban people who troll the site, I know some people's humour is different to others, but some people who post, seem to purposefully write idiotic things.
I'd agree with the post about most recent coming up first automatically, rather than having the filter.
How about making the comments visible on the main page, maybe just the first line of the comment, so you could click to view.

On your recommendations we have eliminated the "X is", "X says" on the main page.

We also have made the default page "Rating" as opposed to "oldest". I know people often ask for the default landing page to be "Recent", however, for somebody who is first visiting our page we feel they might want to read the best content first and this why are opposed to making the default the recent messages, as the recent messages may have not been reviewed by moderators and not always top notch content.

For our frequent visitors we encourage you to bookmark or save shortcuts to the page settings you prefer.... I included links to the pages with settings set as below:

Im not getting it to update. this has been the 1st status under rating for like 2 weeks? even if I refresh.... You know a girl is a keeper if she picks the iron when she's playing Monopoly.

And the thumbs up and thumbs down has not changed. even if I click one of them. I have tried with different browsers even on my phone no luck. Im sure its on my end or all these comments would be about this. so if you can help I would appreciate it. thanks

No status is currently available. Is all I see now. Its been that way for days now.

I can only see comments up to page 5032 but it shows pages up to 5042. Noting has been added in days!!

We changed the default page so the main page now sorts the messages by rating by default. If you want to see the most recent messages click the "Recent" button or "Most Recent" buttons (shown in screenshot below). Once you click one of those buttons the messages will be resorted with the most recent messages appearing first (page 1).

Some issue was encountered that needs correcting by our reliable web designers.

I agree with the "log on" option. I use to be able to search my user name I used but now I can't. I would like the option to do that again. also, I don't understand why we can't use minor cuss words like "As$", "Sh!t",and such if we are posting to the filtered part. I understand vulgar words being prohibited, but minor cuss words are used in every day talking amongst adults.
