I banned the IP sublet of "Mike" so hopefully he can no longer come here. I also reported his threats to authorities. In the past countries have successfully worked with Nigerian authorities and made arrests (Search ). However, I am sure they have a lot of reports like mine. This guy "Mike" seems to be a delusional psychotic, I wonder if all Nigerian scammers are.

So I feel kinda violated i got fired from my last job 2+ months ago for a paperwork mistake and have been frantically looking for a job to make ends meet and was so excited that I finally got a response that I send my contact info. then because i was confused about the position I looked up hl plastics and found that i had been tricked by some jerk messing with people. its really sad that you cant take anything for face value and that people pray so much on others. thanks for the info

Well everyone they are still at it, I didn't send any information because I wanted to check it out first. I am glad there are people out there that are reporting on this stuff.

What a shame, it's hard enough to find a job and I can't believe people take advantage of that!!! Good thing I saw this on time!!!

I received a very similar e-mail, but unfortunately didn't think much of it. I sent all of my information and then got a congratulatory e-mail on being preapproved for the position. I thought it was weird no interview was scheduled. I didn't e-mail back after that point. I received a priority overnight fedex package for a MoneyGram Money Order for $920.00. I didn't put it all together until I started doing research after being told that the moneyorder is fake. I came across the mentioned e-mail and then researched HL plastics and sure enough I had been scammed. I filled out a report to the Internet Crime Complaint and have kept all corresponding emails, envelope and money order (that was all on Monday, August 10). Today, August 11, I got an email telling me what to do with the money order. Not even 30min after reading the e-mail, I received a phone call from a blocked number. I wasn't going to answer it but went ahead and did. Low and behold it was "David" with HL Plastics...I could barely understand a word he said. I was upset they called so I told him to stop sending me e-mails and stop calling me because I know this is a scam. I should have tried to keep him on the phone longer but he had nothing to say and immediately hung up.
