I got the email today. I sent it onto my friends to see if it seemed like a scam to them, and then started searching the internet. Thanks for the blog. Its horrible that in such a desperate time jerks are out there to take advantage of people looking for honest pay.

This info is very useful. Before I wanted to send out my contact info I googled this company and found that it was a scam. Thanks so much for providing this info.

Just got this too. Just goes to show that in bad times as in good, scams exist. For those of us really looking for a legit job, this is frustrating for the energy/time spent in getting a 'fake' listing. UGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!

At first glance this response already looked bad. It's rife with grammatical errors and strange capitalization. I was going to forward it to my dad and axe him his opinion, but after a quick google search it was easy to find that this was indeed a scam. THANKS!

I received this email too and i was not feeling right about it when the person told me i got the job but i need to complete some paper work and in other to do that i need to send they some info's he said he want the info to complete the hiring process and i said i belief it on my resume so reply him and told him the info's are on my resume. this guys are determined to ruin people so u need to watch out for them

Yes, I too was tricked by this posting, but it looked so strange that I immediately knew it was fishy. Thank you for letting us all know that our instincts are correct! I was responding to a craigslist posting as well.

This is an email I received after applying to some admin positions on Craigslist last week. I wasn't thinking and just sent my personal information. I received a second email stating I should respond to confirm my understanding and acceptance of the position, at which point I knew it was a scam and I did Not reply to. This morning I woke up to a UPS truck in the driveway delivering a check made out to cash with my name on it for $2850. I'm glad you guys have compiled this site to make it easy to determine fraud. It is sad that in hard times people prey upon one another. I made a copy of the check and the email and contacted the company listed on the check. I also didn't know the age/gender part was illegal so thanks for that :) learn something new everyday. I pasted the 2 emails I received so hopefully this helps someone.
