Oh they suck alright, they did a number on me. Fake fake fake fake.

I registered for the free 7-day trial but did not agree to the $49.95 monthly subscription, so I sent an e-mail to the CEO at these e-mail addresses (guessing on the format) :: James.Saccacio[at]realtytrac.com; JSaccacio[at]realtytrac.com; James_Saccacio[at]realtytrac.com; JamesSaccacio[at]realtytrac.com

One got through...I received a call that afternoon as well as an e-mail approving a 3-month credit.

WOw, same thing happened to me. Waited to be contacted and didnt hear one word. When I told them that was the reason for cancelling the account, my phone hasnt stopped ringing!! They never leave a message. I'm just making sure that they actually cancelled my account because if I have another 50.00 debit from them I will do what LM did above. Unreal

Thieves!! Free trial...right. I did not sign up to be billed either, and they charged my card. I will not go down lightly...let's keep this the number two hit on Google, and put these criminals out of business. Wish I had read one line down the first time.

As an "interested" party in RTI it's terrible to read these reviews, however let me tell you, I have NO better luck myself contacting anyone, including James, the CEO.
As for the "oops payments", it's too often, over too many years to not smell, and the "prank" calls, are the auto dialing system run amok. So who is watching the Store?
Without the "pain" of others, these guys would lose it ALL.

These folks have big problems. They incorrectly listed my house as a pre-foreclosure and you think I'm not upset. This company appears to be totally out of control. I hope my attorney can make a difference.

I was just about to join Realtytrac until I read your comments. Rather frighting to think that they are allowed to continue to trade. I am from Ireland many miles away and would have no local knowledge of this type of thing. I am interested in purchasing a property in Florida. Is there any “Guardian Angle” out there that might give me some advice?.

Try to reverse the fraud? Send them bad checks, expired credit card #s,MAIL BOMBS,DNS ATTACKS etc. They are parasites they have no "rights"!

I checked out their website. Ran an inquiry on an old zip code that I lived when I was a kid, just to check it. I saw a foreclouser that look like it could be the house I grew up in. So I called a realtor. Indeed the house had been foreclosed upon. However, the bank sold it 6 months ago! This company is worthless. Just pick a realtor in the area your interested in all foreclouser are listed on the MLS.

I read through all of the comments here and was a little disturbed to say the least. I know i've been a bit negligent in the past myself and have forgot to cancel services i signed up for but this is all too much. I've signed up for Realtytrac as well as foreclosure Radar, foreclosure.com and all of these sites tell you right up front that they are subscription services and in plain view present the monthly price. I knew it as well and also let the serive run longer than i would have liked but i can't sit here and bash the company in which i decided to sign up for. Once i was finished using the service i simply called in spoke with their customer service reps and cancelled my account. They actually refunded me back my last charge as they could see i hadn't logged in for some time. Anyway, long story short, take some responsibility here and remember what you sign up for and cancel it when you're no longering needing or using it.

Why doesen't the goverment investigate and slam them in jail?

BEWARE - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCHEISTERS! As a test, I chose a tiny little street with only 7 houses. Of course, they listed one house as a foreclosure. I can guarantee you that my Grandma and neighbors -- who have all lived there for years -- are not in foreclosure! FRAUDS!
