X says they do not celebrate the 4th of July in Mexico so why am I celebrating the 5th of May here? I don't need an excuse to drink tequila; that is a nightly occurrence...

- # 99012 I'll celebrate Cinco de Mayo when Mexico celebrates the Fourth of July!
- # 84586 if you negate those who celebrate for the presents, or for the excuse to drink, or for the day off work, or for the reason to party, or for a morning in bed, the amount of people who truly celebrate Xmas is lower than the nos of actors in a 1 man show!
- # 84613 I dont always drink tequila,but when I do,I get f**king beligerent...stay away from me my friends!

Yes, but we would never "celebrate" a victory over France in America. Who the Hell doesn't have one of those? Losers...

What does the our independence have to do with the 5 of may?? May 5th is not their independence day either! You hould at least google the meaning before making a statement!
(Mexico celebrates its independence from Spain on September 16.)
