What the original post is saying, is that making guns illegal won't make guns go away, in the same way that drugs are illegal yet easily obtainable. There are over 300 million guns out there.

Truman are you even an American? Or are you one of those foreigners who have no idea what a constitution is, nor what having a constitutional republic means. The 2a is not about "playing at soldiers" its about being responsible for ones own protection and freedom. If you're too pussy to protect yourself then how can you expect someone else to protect you for you? And drugs kill far more people than guns.

Truman, not virtual but ACTUAL machine guns ARE banned. Legal gun sales ALREADY require an FBI background check and the FBI are ALREADY supposed to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill.
