X says I must be getting old. Since when does 2 to 4 inches of snow become a winter storm warning? Back when I was a kid, we just called flurries, and we complained it wasn't enough to even have a good snowball fight, let along close schools.

Back in the 60's I remember walking to school in a foot of snow. Now days if just a few inches is expected. Everyone runs out to the store and stock up on stuff. City offices close early. Some city even limit there bus service.
