The comment is actually neither clever or funny. It just demonstrates a ignorance about what white privilege is, why Warren's ethnicity was being requested and what that information was used for. In fact, the very reason she declared an ethnicity is to track white privilege. Essentially, if you find this comment clever or funny you are setting off an alarm that you are ignorant to anyone who isn't.
