Actually, there are plenty of efforts like that around. But when a nation supposedly built around freedom and equality for all and a candidate filled with hate and bigotry is elected to lead it, candy wrappers and drink bottles take a back seat. The rallies are a strong indication that not all citizens are gullible enough to be conned by a snake oil salesman.
