The United States won 37 medals in Vancouver, not just the most in these Games, but the most ever by a single nation in the Winter Olympics. You could say the Americans have “won” the Olympics.

And in that 4 years, we will have won 4 Super Bowls, 4 World Series, 4 NBA championships, and 4 Stanley Cups ... I'm good with that.

Canada did a great job hosting the Olympics! At least, for a couple of weeks, we remembered that they were there!

As a Canadian we dont chest thump. We don't usually feel the need to boast. We did something that made us a country feel pride. And we wanted to express it. But of course the Americans get their feelings hurt and piss and moan bc only they can apparently feel pride about where they come from. It wouldnt offend me if it werent so frigging lame. Whens the last time we ever boasted about anything? We quietly politely enjoy our great country. Most of the statuses I have read (including my own) from my Canadian friends congratulated the States on putting up a good fight and giving us a run for the gold. The American ones trashing Canada over a f-ing hockey game are more offensive. Dont judge the actions of a few as representing us as all. We did well and are happy for our athletes. So if some chest thunping is done then so be it.

Most medals at an olympics? did someone forget Michael Phelps, let canada gloat, it's the only they've ever stood up for themselves.
