X says Why does everyone always have to bring up religion? I'm a Christian but I'm not going around shoving it down everyone's throat and I would ask that everyone else keep their beliefs to themselves as well.

If you are a Christian you would want to tell others. It does not mean shoving it down their throats. it means you are proud of your Lord. If you are ashamed of him then he will be ashamed of you. seems maybe your are hiding your religion for fear of being made fun of. maybe you need to stand tall and shout i am Christian and be proud not ashamed.

Expressing views, whether about religion, or even our views about people who talk about religion, isn't "shoving" anything "down anyone's throat". We have as much right to express our beliefs as you do.
Christans aren't supposed to remain silent and keep the Gospel a secret just so you won't feel uncomfortable. Jesus commands His followers to proclaim the good news. You need to mature.
