Your ancestors created America because they didn't want to pay the taxes that funded a war to keep them free when the French decided they wanted all of America.
So if not for the Royal Family and their armed forces your national language would be French, instead of a Big Mac & Fries it would be Frogs Legs & Snails, on 25th June 1940 you would have surrendered to Germany and finally your would have become good little Communists under the rule of Uncle Joe Stalin after he'd crushed your German owners.
