Multi level marketing companies work off of lineage and have a service or product and any person on the mottom can make more then someobody above them its all based on performance not where you are placed. pyramid schemes are illegal and have no service or product and typically don't last more then a couple months, to me it just sounds like someone is a little butthurt they didn't make a million dollars in their first month
