The word "dinosaur" didn't appear until 1841. Before that they were known as dragons. And where do you get the idea that none were on the ark? Arguing from silence is a logical fallacy; There's no mention of zebras on the ark, so are we to assume that there were no zebras on the ark or that zebras didn't exist? There's no mention of any specific animal kind on the ark - only clean and unclean, and only those in whose nostrils is the breath of life. This excludes marine life and many insect kinds.

Ummmmm, dinosaurs ARE mentioned in the bible. The word dinosaur didn't exist back then so they had different names then. Some people are just to quick in trying to be a smart arse that they neither look before they leap nor check the facts before opening their mouth (or in this case typing with their fingers / posting).

Here's a simple and logical explanation: It's because dinosaurs were real and the bible is a work of fiction!

I think they're mentioned as Great Dragons or Great reptiles somewhere. I dunno, never read the thing despite having religion shoved up my ass my entire childhood and then grew up to become the unrepenting sinner I am today.
