Yes it's a ripoff, they make you sign up for a porn site to gain access to their site. The trial for the porn site was less than $3.00, but even the porn site sucked no access to content unless you upgrade, lol. I tried to download something and everything I tried was a broken link. What a scam!
Is there a way we can get these guys off the net? I did a whois on pirateaccess.com and all the conact info is anonymous. I am out $3.00 so that's not as bad as the other horror stories I've been hearing, but still I would like to pull a smackdown on these guys.

I am very sorry but I can not help you because:
1.) I am not csinfonow.com
2.) Just like you I do not know how to contact csinfonow.com
3.) It's Martin Luther King Jr. Day
4.) We do not accept credit cards on TJshome.com
5.) We are not affiliated with any company that accepts credit cards.
6.) I do not have authority to contact your bank to issue a charge back for this transaction (however, this would be a good idea on your part)
7.) The attorney general will not care that some blog poster won't help you retrieve a refund from a transaction he has nothing to do with.
8.) You are just admitted to attempting to illegally download copy protected software.

I do not know how to contact this company. Nor, did I purchase anything from them myself. I only reported on the company as it was the first result in a search I did and it looked shady from the start so I thought I would post about them to heopefully deter others from signing up. I think your best bet is if you paid by credit card contact your credit card company and issue a hold on the transaction.

Signed up for pirateaccess.com & paid through adult website, of approx $3.95 USD, after that I sent them my reciept information (proof of purchase) & still cannot access the site(pirateaccess.com) I have sent 2-3 emails with no response yet, been over a week.
I call scam..... Stay away from pirateaccess.com, it is a wast of money & time. & are getting rich from people like me/you

Pirate access just links everything to another website, it's just like google. The websites are different, but they mostly all require registration or rapidshare.

I work for a company and we deal with Visa Disputes all the time. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do until it actually clears their card. I hate that that is the case, because I see people get screwed over all the time. There's no way to "issue a hold" on the transaction. Because YOU gave your number to a merchant, they can charge it all they want. Once the transaction has cleared the account, THAT is when they can place a dispute on the charge. But a lot of fraudulent websites get away with a little because if in their terms and conditions it states that it can take up to 2 weeks or something to receive merchandise, then they can't place a dispute on the item during that time period.
and if you never received your goods, you can place a dispute on it with your credit card company, just be sure to explain the whole situation so it will help out the investigation. also let them know it's fraudulent.

I totally fell for the scam as well. Fortunately - it doesn't look like I was the only one. There was so much new google stuff I thought google earth was under fifteen bucks so I paid for it with all my info thinking I was simply going to download the program...clicked through a bunch of bs then soon after realized I could download google earth for free and got EXTRA ripped off...
blogging about it is pointless but I guess other people will know.

Well, I found out about this site from a post on another website with a premium account generator for this site. I have tried multiple downloads and NONE, I repeat NONE of the download links work, especially in premium zone. Don't waste your time on this site. Look for a good warez forum. I would say warez-bb.org is the largest and best community. Try it out, whatever but I'm not pushing warez-bb.org. It's just for your information.

You, "professional" Mrs.Julia B, made three serious mistakes:
1) You charged me an additional $14.88 "for protection against malware" without my conscent.
2) After I payed by VISA card you sent me a non-working login link.
3) You left me without a contact address in case of login problems. So, that I was forced to contact csinfonow.com and make overseas calls to my Bank.
Thus, you failed to deliver the service & goods for which I paid. Only now, after you were queried by www.csinfonow.com, you swapped your login address for a working one, yet still fail to provide a reliable contact address in case there's another login problem.
Thus, I lost confidence in this deal and demand full reversal of my VISA card payment of $US 41.76 Please don't add insult to injury by charging me $9.99 for "costs of processing and your mihandling"...
"According to your Terms and Conditions" you were not entitled to charge me an additional $14.88 and fail to provide a working login link and supposed to provide means of contact in case of login problems.
Your satisfaction guarantee failed miserably. May I suggest that you first get your act together and then insist in 'strict NO-REFUND policy'.
