Medicare isn't free, the elderly pay monthly for it just as americans pay for it monthly at WORK.

Might wanna do research on your words kids, Medicare was also introduced in the same way, by force/reconciliation. It is not any different. And its quite hypocritical that OLD MEN/WOMEN are the ones protesting this government run healthcare, which is the same thing they are receiving either through their government insurance (for Republican Congressmen/Senators) or through their Medicare.

Medicare ISN'T free. Those OLD PEOPLE had to work and pay into it in order to use it. It's not like WELFARE where you don't have to work to get it. All you have to do is sit back on your lazy ass collecting checks and pumping out kids every 9 months so that check increases while everyone else pays into it.

It was the method that was used to get it passed. They are supposed to represent the will of the people. Obviously, they only represented their own, disgusting interests. How is that different than living under a dictatorship?
