Most Americans are only taught American history and any world history has the typical American slant and propaganda twisted into it. Have you ever noticed while in a chat people will say they're from Ontario, Canada or London, England etc. but Americans just say Detroit or Dallas etc.? It's because they are taught to believe that they're the biggest and best and that nobody else matters.
It makes for some pretty sore losers.

Yup I'd agree there. Most of my Canadian friends congratulated the Americans on a good game. My Americans called their silver white gold or that bc they won one and we won one we were tied. :)
